A few general rules

There are a few general rules you should know at the outset.

First, you cannot share your super-user account with another person. The moment someone else logs into Manhattan using your username and password, you will get logged out. If you are working within Manhattan's administrative system and someone else logs in as you, the next time you click on a Manhattan command button or other hyperlink you'll get a message like "Sorry, but you have been logged out of the classroom. It's possible that someone else is using your account!"

To further safeguard the administrator accounts, you will be automatically logged out if you have not clicked on a Manhattan command button or link for four hours.

Finally, you are probably accustomed to using the Back and Forward buttons on your web browser to go back to a previous page or to undo a "go back" operation. You'll do best if you do NOT use your browser's Back and Forward buttons while using Manhattan's administrative system. Instead, you should move about your classroom by clicking on the buttons and hyperlinks provided on the web pages themselves. In particular, you'll find blue arrows (or sometimes buttons labeled Back) in the upper left corner of most of the administrator's pages:
