The Team/Teacher module

The Team/Teacher Discussion module behaves like the Team Discussion module (see the previous section), except that the teacher is a member of all the teams. From the student's point of view, the Team/Teacher Discussion looks much like the Team Discussion module. The only difference the student sees is that the teacher (or teachers, if the classroom has more than one teacher) is a member of the team, and can read the messages and write new ones:

From the teacher's perspective, things look a bit different. When the teacher enters the Team/Teacher module from the Main Menu, he'll see something like:

The numbers in parentheses next to each team indicate the total number of messages posted in the module by that team. In the above example, Team A has (2) messages posted and all the other teams have not yet posted any messages. If there were any unread messages posted by a team, a red star would appear next to that team.

After selecting Team A from the above page, the teacher is brought to a page where he can participate in a discussion with the students he has placed in that team:

Any message posted by the teacher from this page will be seen only by students who are in Team A.
