Links are added to messages
Another more subtle change takes place when the People module is enabled within a classroom. When reading a message in any module posted by a person who has entered at least some information in their personal info page, their name will be linked to their personal info:
In the above screenshot, clicking on the sender's name will show their personal info in a pop-up window:

Note that the teacher can always see the personal info entered by students, whether or not the People module is enabled. Student's names are linked to their personal info page in several places available to the teacher under his Configuration menu, including View password file. |
